Well this a small piece of simple words , humble enough to express my thoughts as a writer about my profession.Definitely  a big shot of credit goes to Prabu sir for being the pioneer of our Biomechanics. And ofcourse our Ortho professors, Kavita Ma'am for teaching us skills, Sudeep sir for for giving us all the extra knowledge, Michelle ma'am for teaching me to respect patients and Nirav sir to be confident to treat!!

                       AN ORTHO PHYSIO!!

In school we learnt of 206 bones,
Never really thought we would learn them all,
But presently we know them, not just by their names,
But also their fractures after our patient’s fall..

I call it journey of ortho,
Right from fractures to their post op care
From bed ridden to making a patient functionally able,
That’s what is every physio’s dare!

On and On we observe and examine,
Allignments , Motion , Postures and Gait,
Using all our Biomechanics mind,
Trying to make our patient’s straight!

Of pain , malfunction and deformities,
Our patients cry and complain,
Doing our best , using modalities and skills,
We stand for them, Respecting their pain!

Glides ,Taping , manipulations,
All techniques we professionally use
Differently able, yet standing with pride,
The first look of that sight, gets all amused!

Chronic pain and weeping cries
Ergonomics and Dietary advice,
Bones, Muscles and Ligaments we rule
That’s the big holistic role we suffice!

The only dream that’s all we have is;
To walk back with the man who came on a wheelchair,
As surgeons bring him to life , while we bring life to him,
Afterall ,  “functional ability” is what all about we care!!
